ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Foro Equidad de Género

It is a two day forum focus on Gender Equality. We will have 8 conference in diferents topics, like feminism, toxic masculinity, feminicide, birth control, empowerment, and others. We expect that the more than 7,000 participants learn something that will make them start a change.

About the Millennium Fellow

Luis Pequeño is a 20 years old student at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, in Mexico. He is studying a degree in Marketing, in his second year. At the age of 15 he was the Secretary General at his School Model of the United Nations, he won 10 times Best Delegate and participate in the NHSMUN 2014. He is an activist, created a Student Group for Social Help, and started a program of visiting Fosters Home. Is a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a feminist ally.
