ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Week
Olivia plans to work with my college's Green Officer to organise a Green Week within college; a week of events that will help promote sustainable lifestyles and raise awareness about the environment to advance the Sustainable Development Goal 13 of Climate Action and help students to reduce their carbon footprint. Olivia aims to run an online clothes swap for members of the college and share a couple of vegan recipes with college members and the wider university community.
About the Millennium Fellow
Olivia Byrne is in her second year studying Geography at the University of Cambridge. She is particularly interested in Biogeography and is looking forward to this opportunity with the Millennium Fellowship to promote environmental sustainability around the university campus.
