" I am thrilled to be part of the Millennium Fellowship, which can take this precious opportunity to work with like-minded youth leaders around the globe. It always requires initiators to promote quality education and sustainability. I believe that education is the strongest weapon that we can use to change the world, so that children from the glass root family can lift out of poverty. This is why we are here. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Tech4D

Tech4D or Technology for Development is formed by a group of students who took part in community services and completed the service-learning subject. After studying service learning, we discovered that there are huge needs to serve the people in developing countries. Our team's vision is to help them improve living conditions sustainably.” It is a five-year, student-initiated, engineering-based project by PolyU students who work hand-in-hand with young local community partners in Cambodia to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) education and its practical applications, such as building solar stations, providing technical skills training, and upcycling used plastic bottles and tyres to create playgrounds infused with simple physics and music theory.

Measurable Goals:
-Recruit 15 new members to sustain our service project
-Reach 11 Family in the villages, provide electricity maintenance services and empowerment
-Create 200 mask holders for students under COVID-19
