" I want to be a Millennium Fellow because it will provide me with networking opportunities with global network of change-makers all over the world who strive to create a social impact and are working on making the world better. I would get to learn from the intellect and experience of like-minded people and get to understand their approach to the achieving Sustainable Development Goals and I really want the real art and magic which is in the hands of local guys in remote areas to be put forward to the whole world by providing them online and financial support along with mentorship. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: D-Well (Digital Well-being)

"DWELL aims to achieve digital health and well being in the age of growing depression, mental illness and human suffering due to excessive use of digital technology. There has been an ever-increasing rate of despondency in teenagers thus leading to an increase in the number of suicides attempts all over the country, majorly due to lack of socializing. Thus, the Millennium Fellows aim at reducing the unhealthy and overuse of digital technology, thus improving human interactions. They set off with three sectors starting in Tamil Nadu; the first two being school students and college students-
which included detoxification sessions, book reading sessions, beach-walks, garden sessions including- newspaper reading, silhouette painting, glass painting and a visit toold age homes. They also plan to collaborate with MITR and SAATHI, organizations that cater to student wellness in the institute, to conduct telepsychiatry and digital therapy. The third sector is SMEs (Small and Medium Scale Enterprises) whom we help to venture into art startups for better outreach and organizing awareness sessions in the local dialects. The aim is to create a socially healthy environment for people of all age groups."
