This project aims to create a collaboration between tribal schools and Urban ones. Ananda is from Kerala, India and there are still village hamlets in tribal areas where kids drop out of school on a regular basis and gets really low exposure to the opportunities that awaits them. Schools from both sides will be oriented on the project and they will be assigned partner schools, after careful vetting of the students and teachers, Ananda expect to pair them up as partners, depending upon their interests.
Students will be constantly in touch with each other via digital resources and they will have a medium where they can share their views and ideas. Cross-linked classrooms where teachers from each schools share their teaching experiences will be there, so as to let them understand the stark contrast between the method of teaching in different settings.
Besides regular one-to-one contact, Ananda expect to organize a group meeting, once a month which will include mentoring sessions from various experts in diverse fields. Besides partner schools program, the Fellow expect to bring in alumni and teachers from college to provide them with regular training sessions.
