" When you know you can help someone from your work never stop, never fear to fail ;in the end you are going to be reason for someone's smile and what's better feeling than that.'' Being part of this wonderful organization helped me identify the potentials I have and to channelize then in the right track. More than all this what keeps the zeal and eagerness to be part of this is being able to work with people who are from different part of this beautiful planet with rich and diverse culture yet share same motto ,to help others and make life better, to make this world a better place what can fill-in all this strength of working together with diverse thought but united heart. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Akshayapathra
India, a developing nations having population of 1.3 billion has the 5th largest economy by GDP. 16 October is celebrated as the World Food Day to mark the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN in 1945. However, despite all these achievements, 190 million citizens go to bed hungry every night. Our journey is to feed the underprivileged of society. "Akshayapathra" is a plan to create a network of food banks that serve the needy of society particularly poor children and senior citizens. The initial plan to provide 3 meals per day starting off with 50 people and soon growing it further across cities. Our success and growth would be explained by the decrease in the hungry mouths over a course of time. We are doing our best through the community to create impact in society.
