" I am very excited to join the Millennium Fellowship because it is a great opportunity for me to build and develop a strong, capable, and confident leadership that will help me use my ideas, skills, and resources to the benefit of our local and global community. What motivates me the most in my work on mental health is the will to spread awareness, support, and strength to everyone out there, feeling trapped in their bubbles. Too often, what keeps us from expressing ourselves truly and living life at its fullest, is our mindset. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Mind Haven
Mind Haven is a project that aims to create a safe harbour for the busy and struggling minds. It aims to help and guide people with mental health struggles through their healing, growing and self-discovery journey. As part of this contribution, we will encourage them to reach out when needed and chat with us. As well as encourage that it is okay to seek help and support. We will also provide information on professional support available and how to seek professional support if needed. Many communication forms will be made available, as well as single or small group appointments. Plenty of resources will be made available such as books, podcasts, apps. Furthermore, we will also aim to inspire and motivate them to follow their aspirations. We aim to make the website as friendly as possible, with information that is easy to understand.
We aim to positively impact 1000 to 1500 lives by the end of December 2020 and hope to get several hundred of views per month. To measure our impact, we aim to keep a regular check on how many people visit the website, and ask visitors to create an account through which we will keep them updated on new content.
