" I am extremely excited to be a part of the Millennium Fellowship Programme, as it is a valuable opportunity to further my passion and UN SDGs together with the support of like-minded individuals in my campus, as well as across the globe. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: UCL Policy Institute
UCL Policy Institute provides a platform for passionate students to use academic research to drive positive change. Functioning like a traditional think tank, the organisation will help interested students develop research skills, publish an annual journal with comprehensive policy analysis papers, and ensure informed policies complying with UN SDGs are implemented by using these published academic papers to advise decision-makers.
We hope to collaborate with established departments within UCL for this purpose, and secure a team of passionate student researchers with prospective research ideas aligned with UN SDGs. We also intend to create an online platform for shorter research articles on public policy reform, for those who are unable to commit to academic papers but wish to share their ideas nevertheless. In addition to our journal we will also host events aligned with our purpose, such as policy hackathons and research workshops.
