ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Alternative Lighting

Alternative lighting is sustainable and cheap energy source, which is been powered by magnet. This is aim at lighting up rooms.

About the Millennium Fellow

Umaru Umaru is a dedicated student presently studying towards a degree in political science and international studies. He was born in lagos and presently schooling in the northern part of Nigeria. He is a dedicated and excellent student who has always looked out and rendered assistance to his colleagues in school right from his days in basic school. He is presently serving as a special adviser on academic affairs in his faculty and using his office to academically prepare and help students . Umaru has always had the mindset of achieving his best in his professional career and to give back to society and help sustain the development goals.
