ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: We Women - ALC

We Women -ALC is a society that aims to encourage young women to actively engage in the development of their communities. It aims to create awareness on conditions affecting women in our diverse communities, strengthen female leadership by offering mentorship programmes and also encourage participation in grassroots development projects. The end goal is to ensure that women are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to actualize their missions.

About the Millennium Fellow

Margaret Mathenge is a second-year student at the African Leadership University - Mauritius, pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management. She is passionate about creating positive impact in the community. she loves visiting new places and volunteering.
