ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Green Earth

Scope:- Climate Action
Aim- Our objective was to increase the awareness of youths regarding the methods and ways that the Earth could be restored without causing more damage.
Actions to completion:-
-Workshops at different institutions
-Training students and volunteers about action plan to protect the earth from climate change
-Training of volunteers on the importance of tree plantations and the practical plantation of trees
-Raising awareness on the significance of environmental sanitation and harmful effects of environmental pollution.

About the Millennium Fellow

Oduye Aishat is a 5th-year medical student at Babcock University, Ogun State, Nigeria. She is a public health enthusiast, an environmentalist, a public speaker, an entrepreneur and a copywriter. She truly enjoys public health and as someone with a vision, she hopes to see her dreams of seeing the world as a healthy place come true.
During her free time, she likes drawing and watching movies. She enjoys meeting intelligent, like-minded individuals, sharing ideas and working. She aspires to become an Orthopedic surgeon and a public health specialist.
