" Mental health is equally important as physical health, and as they say health is wealth; my motto is to establish a strong foundation towards better mental health in the minds of students and their caretakers.
When we talk about mental health we rarely mention position psychology. The focus is to eliminate mental illnesses and not to increase happiness quotient in people around us, I want to spread this positive aspect of psychology around.
Millennium Fellowship is a great platform to establish this foundation and I am looking forward to this journey with all my heart. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Aaghaz: a journey towards knowing yourself better

Aaghaz, a word derived from the Hindi language, means beginning. For me, Aaghaz is the beginning of a revolution towards understanding your emotions better.

Moreover, it is a step forward towards positive psychology. Everyone strives towards eliminating mental illnesses, Aaghaz commits to bring in a positive state of mental health. We do not believe in the neutral gear, but ending each day on a pleasant note. This comprises a few activities, daily tasks and doesn't even require 15 minutes per day. At its nascent stage, Aaghaz focuses on the school kids , children in the orphan ages and people in the old-age homes, as we believe they have somehow been alienated or ignored when it comes to mental health.
