" I am excited to be selected as a Millennium Fellow. I believe that primary health care is a key to prevent people from suffering various chronic illnesses and maintain a high quality of life. I hope my action can promote the community health in Hong Kong. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Stay Healthy
“Stay Healthy” aims to promote primary health care in the community. The project is targeting on the SDG #3: Good Health and Wellbeing. By forming a team of nursing students, we conducted outreach services towards the grass-rooted families and older people in the community, which they would receive less education and health information. To promote primary healthcare in the community, we have provided diverse health services, including free health assessment, consultation and education. We have collaborated with a community center which helped us to recruit the participants, in order to increase the social impacts and influence more people in the local community.
