Koç University Education Project aims to minimize inequality of opportunity in education by providing basic courses and mentoring support to disadvantaged students.
About the Millennium Fellow
Melis Gençer is an energetic, cheerful and young world citizen. She is 20 years old college student trying to discover herself and the world. She is studying nursing and psychology at Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey. She was born in Izmir. Then, she moved to Istanbul for the college education.She tries to be a world citizen. For this reason, she likes meeting people from different backgrounds, learning new languages and exploring new cultures . As much as possible, she works on sustainable development goals. She is always passionate about the environment, human rights , and equality on education and gender.
