ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

About the Millennium Fellow

Akiror Peace is a young, vibrant, co-operative and free spirited person who loves leadership and is open any challenges that might come aboard. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology in Mbarara University of Science and Technology. She was born and resides in Kampala. From time in memorial, she has always been passionate about causing a change in the lives of people in the society. This has influenced her to be active in school programs and joining different impactful projects. Life in highschool and currently in college, she has been an outstanding leader thus inspiring many young people to be open to leadership and not settle for less. Peace looks forward to being a strong force in contributing to the development of the United Nations' sustainable Goals.
