" All my life, I have seen women who have put their families' needs above their health. These same families do not provide enough support when these women come forward and speak about their issues. I want to be part of a world where women are not shamed or ridiculed for putting their best interests first. To do that, I have to be at the forefront, bringing about necessary awareness and changes. Adopting the "pay it forward" culture, I want to continue fighting the good fight, following in the footsteps of the women before me. As a Millennium Fellow, I hope to find opportunities to light the path for others. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Know Your Body

Project Know Your Body (abbreviated as KYB) is an online group project that serves to push the agenda for empowering the less privileged – assigned female at birth (AFAB people), women, and LGBTQ+ individuals through education, mainly that of their body so they can be confident with who they are.
