" Global climate policy must incorporate the languages, contexts, and people's experiences of the global south. Young people are trying to create a more people-centric climate discourse that acknowledges the inequality in impact and representation through collective action and re-imagining current systems. Such approaches must be given more space in big forums and in policy-making. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Nitara

Nitara is a youth climate collective that undertakes various campaigns for climate literacy, community-centered climate justice, and climate reporting. Under the Millennium Fellowship, we have been conducting a campaign on formalizing climate education in New Delhi and creating alternate climate learning spaces.
