Millennium Fellowship Project: SHEZAAL
The project Shezaal, with special emphasis on the UN Sustainable Development Goal relating to gender equality, intends to highlight numerous challenges that the women of Baluchistan face in their daily discourse, ranging from financial dependency, lack of educational and employment opportunities, sanitation and medical issues, to social constraints towards inclusiveness and integration, and many more.
Also, the project postulates an unheard woman of Balochistan and a noble cause to accomplish an unshackled voice and a just and inclusive society comprised of empowered women. To these end, it would present the viewpoint of ordinary women pertaining to the issues they face and would initiate an intellectual discourse to bring about social transformation by fostering broader and structural perception changes.
By raising awareness among the university students as well as the public and in the rural locales of Baluchistan, the project would motivate the female youth/students of backward areas to avail life-changing and career-uplifting opportunities.
