United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Ankara shoe designs

The project is all about producing new shoes with Ankara material or redesigning worn out shoes to make them look new again.

About the Millennium Fellow

Awa Marie Na'ah is a smart communication and development student in the University of Bamenda. She was born in Cameroon, resides in Bamenda and currently studying and living in Bambili( Cameroon). Marie has always been an optimistic lady passionate about the well being of the community and people around her especially the underprivileged. From 2018, she has organized some philanthropic projects which she plans to keep it through with her leadership skills and communication skills in future. Marie sees herself in this field in the nearest future doing more to keep the development of the United Nation's Sustainable Goals.
