Millennium Fellowship Project: Bahirdar University Human Rights Club
It is a club created by the initiation of Ethiopian Human Rights Defenders Center by an agreement with Bahirdar University. It works on creation of awareness and advocacy about human rights in our campus and outside our campus,in the city.
About the Millennium Fellow
Beamlak Solomon is a brillian, young, cooperative and competitive pre-law student at Bahirdar University, School of Law. She was born in Alemgena, oromia, Ethiopia, resides in there.For as long as she remembers, Beamlak has always been passionate about equality, equity and justice in Ethiopia, Africa and the world. This drive her to make a foot step forward to be part of the advocacy system. She has been part of many activities of human right issues and charitable works; which through her outstanding leadership, she plans to continue in the future. Beamlak aspires to be in a professional field where she can make a change and provide her own contribution in the development of United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
