Millennium Fellowship Project: The Tweyonje Campaign

The project is called the Tweyonje campaign and it is about improving sanitation and the personal hygiene of the community through various activities including mass sensitization.

About the Millennium Fellow

Henry Kaggwa is an intelligent young final year medical student at Busitema University who has defied all the odds to be a first medical student from his county. He was born in Mityana, Central Uganda, East Africa and he is a firstborn. He is the 3rd president of Busitema University Research and Innovation Association, one of the founding member, a research and an innovator. He has been a leader since primary school. Henry has been always creative and innovative since childhood. He is very passionate about health eversince his young brother was almost killed by malaria 15 years ago. Him and his colleagues at Busitema University innovated a mobile app [NCD lense] which is freely accessible from Google play store and it's already creating impact in Non-communicable diseases. Henry and other colleagues through social innovation have mitigated the problem of limited resources especially in low income country like Uganda to positively impact lives through mindset change and social transformation to foster sustainable development.
