United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

The opportunity to participate in this year's Millennium Fellowship grants her an opportunity to interact with other students around the world in order to share ideas and learn from others on how to improve patient care especially the children. The children need better care and are most vulnerable and every child needs a decent livelihood. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Tweyonje Campaign

The project is called the Tweyonje campaign and it is about improving sanitation and the personal hygiene of the community through various activities including mass sensitization.

About the Millennium Fellow

Tumusiime Rosemary is a bright self motivated and globally competitive medical student at Busitema University, Uganda.
She was born in Uganda, and now residing in Mbale while persuing her Bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery.
Ever since she was young, she has always been passionate about human health and how to make a difference in people's lives and put a smile to those who are going through pain due to disease.
She has been involved in several leadership positions at school and also been involved in saveral projects one of which involves contact tracing of children under 5 years who are contacts of people with pulmonary tuberculosis.
Children under 5 years are usually vulnerable to disease as they can not take care of themselves but have to rely on their care takers for care and treatment.
