Millennium Fellowship Project: Women and their Legal Rights
The Women and Their Legal Rights is an independent project lead by the Millenium Fellows Ayesha Munir and Yamema Shahbaz Sohail. The project will focus on teaching women their legal rights, specially their rights relating to marriage, inheritance and water. The aim is to teach women their rights and empower them to utilize their rights for their benefit.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ayesha Munir is a young, determined, and competitive law student at Fatima Jinnah Women University. She was born in Pakistan, studied in the United States for 07 years and is currently studying in Pakistan. For as long as she can remember, Ayesha has aspired to be a lawyer. She has always been passionate about women's right. Throughout her high school years and now in university, she has actively participated in several social justice movements. Ayesha inspires to be a lawyer so she can advocate for women's rights and help the vulnerable achieve justice.
