" I am delighted to be a Millennium Fellow because it will provide me with networking opportunities, significant leadership exposure, experience, and the opportunity to learn from experienced individuals. I feel that gaining knowledge is another way of helping mankind since one may utilize that knowledge to eventually serve humanity, thus I work hard in my studies and continue to research to become a human who is beneficial to others. As a result, I educate myself and others around me and am dedicated to assisting others in resolving problems. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Secure Water and Fair Distribution

My project name is “Secure Water and Fair Distribution”, which is based on SDG 6. Water is a precious resource that, when used wisely, may result in zero hunger, no poverty, good health, energy generation, development, and so on. As a result, strong governance is required for equitable distribution. My ambition is to see clean water everywhere and for everyone. Unfortunately, many people lack access to water, and those who do have access are wasting it. The pain of the time is that water is not at all secure. It is contaminated with environmental pollutants and garbage, posing a serious concern. Therefore, my project aims to run a campaign through social media to raise awareness among society regarding water issues like unclean drinking water, wastage of water, and water scarcity. In this way, I can encourage people to secure water to ensure fair distribution and through my social media posts they can learn economical tips for clean drinking water, will be motivated to not waste a precious resource like water, not pollute or waste natural resources of water, and store water to battle with water scarcity. The project intends to investigate challenges and explore possible solutions to ensure clean water security and strong governance for fair distribution. Because if water is preserved and used in a good way, it’s good for our health and it’ll help us battle other issues as well. For example, investing in water and sanitation enhances economic growth as it lowers health costs, gives more productivity, results in fewer premature deaths, etc.

My social media campaign is available on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and Facebook with #SecureWaterAndFairDistribution. As this project is a social media campaign and will be available on social media forever, therefore I believe that it can impact many lives. I also shared the campaign posts in WhatsApp national and international groups with hundreds of group members from different backgrounds. Because when the community works together with the authorities, then success is inevitable.
