Millennium Fellowship Project: Gender Equality
My project is on Substanable Development Goal 5 which revolves around gender equality. The aim is to ensure that male and females are allowed to exercise their rights irrespective of their sex, giving equal opportunities to them as well.
About the Millennium Fellow
Akinyemi Ololade Oluwapelumi is a young, vibrant and globally oriented law student at Lagos State University. She was born in Nigeria and currently resides in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Right from when Ololade attained maturity, she has developed a strong desire for advocacy, rights of the girl child and woman. Most importantly, equality for all.
This zeal and passion spurred her to participate in several socially inclined programs both in her indigenous school and the aspirations to do same internationally.
She intends to further her practice in Law, encourage a better justice system and ensure equal rights for all gender which in the long run revolves round United Nations' Substainable Development Goals.
