" For me, being a harbinger of positive and alleviating change has been my dream. To be able to design a project and execute it is just like a dream coming to reality. To work with such liberty is a privilege. I am extremely humbled to be a part of a cohort of such talented young genius change-makers whom I look up to for learning something new and honing my skill-set for the futur change-making projects. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Mysa

My project Mysa aims to build capacity by initiating a conversation regarding the stigma of reservation. It begins with starting to talk to the students, sensitising them to this affirmative action policy and providing them with a safe space to talk about their issues and find a group where they can seek support. It is done with an aim of making the hard college life easy to navigate for people from the SC/ST/OBC communities of college.

About the Millennium Fellow

Vibha is a third-year Psychology major student from the Lady Shri Ram College for Women. Belonging to India, she believes that devil lies in the details and only by acknowledging the little fallacies of ignorance in our day-to-day lives, we can better combat the social evils of suppression. She is an enthusiastic and cheerful person who hopes that future for the coming generations would be a little better. Her interests are varied from drama, music, sports, reading philosophy but her heart is in the subject Sociology. She strongly believes in her college motto- "That alone is knowledge which liberates us" and in the power of education to make a better today for a better tomorrow by learning from the yester days.
