United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: 1000 Tree Planting in Western Uganda

1000 Tree Planting in Western Uganda.
We selected four types of trees. 500 Conocarpus Tress, 300 Mango fruits and 200 Rosemary tresses.
I selected Mbarara, Kabale, Isingiro and Ntungamo districts of Western Uganda.

About the Millennium Fellow

Beinomugisha Nalisiuas is a strategic ,passionate and committed student at Mbarara University University of Science and Technology offering BSc.in Petroleum Engineering and Environmental Management .He was born in Uganda and currently a resident of Mbarara- Booma .He finds interest in leadership and so much passionate about extending a helping hand to less fortunate .He has been a Guild Representative council for 2 year where he mobilised funds to pay tuition for two class mates ,in the same spirit organizated workshops and seminars which empowered the youth to see opportunity in everything .He is a charter member Leos Club MUST Kihumuro under Lions Club Mbarara Central as Immediate Past Vice President and currently Club director.He has participated in visiting the prisons,planting tresses ,charity campaigns and cancer runs,visited babies homes and actively advocated for human rights and Gender Equality .He is now willing to contribute towards development of United Nation's Sustainable Goals.
