" The power to change our world is very uncomplicated, it lies in the simplest of steps. I envision a world where our cities are more inclusive and safe for their residents alongside being environmentally sustainable. Through the Millennium Fellowhip, I am ecstatic to join an international cohort of changemakers as we all work to make our vision of a better world a reality. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: InclusiCity

The goal of this project is to build more inclusive cities by bridging the communication gap between landlords and renters in cities around the world. Renting is a key component in ensuring that affordable housing is available for everyone and this is challenged by landlords in cities across the world refusing to rent to certain individuals due to various stereotypes and factors such as profession, religion, disabilities, immigration status, etc. which is a great hindrance in ensuring that our cities are safe and inclusive. The goal of this project is to bring about education and awareness about minimum standards that are expected from landlords and tenants as well as best practices to ensure that such stereotypes are removed and affordable housing becomes available for all.
