" I believe in my own little way, I must make a change, I must start something, no matter how little or insignificant it might seem to be.
Because of this belief, I engage students on campus, I give them orientation about their health, I teach them preventive measures.
I have seen many students dropped out of school as a result of abuse of psychoactive drugs.
In order to stop the pandemic of drug abuse, I joined associations that organizations that visit high schools to teach students about the dangers of drug abuse.
I also have great plans of regularly visiting high schools to address important topics like, sexual and reproductive health, mental health.
I believe if I have the opportunity of being selected as part of the people that will undergo this training, I believe it will go a long way for me in achieving my great goals and passion.
I'm certain that the Millennium Fellowship will be of great impact on my life as it will endue me with leadership skills and many other important
capacity building trainings that will promote my social impact in my area of interest. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Compassion for Humanity

It briefly addresses problems the general public faces daily due to those issues and difficulties.
About the Millennium Fellow
I'm a medical student in my penultimate year.
I opted for the study of medicine because I'm so passionate about Good Health and Well-being for all ( Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs number 3)
I'm always sad when I see how people come down with needless diseases and eventually die due to ridiculous reasons.
The health care system in my country, Nigeria is so poor, there's lack of enough health care facilities to cater for the masses, the available facilities are understaffed, there's lack of modern equipments to facilitate running of tests and aiding diagnosis of diseases.
I'm so passionate to see a change in the health sector.
