Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Nymeria - Uplift Women using Technology
Project Nymeria is a way to empower women by conducting drives to
provide women with essential items. It aims to raise awareness about the various
issues women face even today. It is also a platform that promotes women from rural
areas to start and advertise their entrepreneurial ideas.
About the Millennium Fellow
Vidisha Chandra is an energetic and determined Computer Science Engineering student at PES University. She was born and brought up in India, immersed in it's diversity and culture. She is a feminist who has always felt passionate about women's rights and empowering women. Growing up she took initiative towards social causes. Vidisha aims to continue by making a significant contribution to the United Nations's Sustainable Goals. She aspires to create solutions with the help of technology to alleviate social grievances and empower women everywhere.
