I am where I am because of the people who supported me and pushed me to dream big and make them a reality. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Humans First

Humans first is a group project led by students passionate to democratise mental health in India. It aims to raise social awareness about mental health issues. It includes making therapy available and affordable for all or finding a more creative and friendly alternative to it.

About the Millennium Fellow

Arshia Sangwan is sophomore computer science and artificial intelligence engineering student at Plaksha University, Mohali, India. She is passionate about working toward improving the lives of the underprivileged and shaping a better future. She is inspired by her father's never give up attitude and her mother's strength and optimism to work towards her goals with unflinching determination. She intends to solve the grand challenges and work towards a more sustainable and equitable future. She has worked in the field of developing Assistive technology for Visually Impaired middle school students and looks forward to working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and sustainable development.
