Millennium Fellowship Project: Un-Veiled
The project would be a podcast which aim to raise awareness on gender inequalities and feminism. The name is based on a French feminist figure: Simone Veil and show our will to emphasize the reality of women's condition. We will have two main formats: short episodes that are giving people the main theoretical keys and long episodes where we will make reports or interviews. Those podcasts will give people the main theorical and rhetoric keys on gender inequalities debate. They will also allow people realize what women's lives conditions are, and maybe help women to understand that what they are living is not normal. We believe that conveying information's and helping educating people will ensure a social change. An Instagram account would be related to the podcast to maximise our reach, promote it and share the main ideas of the podcast on social media. If we can, and if the covid situation allow us, we will like to launch debates on the podcast theme.
About the Millennium Fellow
Léonie Rolland is a passionate, hardworking, and dedicated young lady who was born and raised in Le Havre, France. After being successfully graduated from high school with the jury’s congratulations, she got into the Instituts d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po Paris) in the Le Havre Campus. She declared herself a feminist when she was ten and has proudly continued to defend this commitment and her ideas. She believes the Millennium Fellowship will be a step stone in her journey to share feminist voices and ideas and raising-awareness on gender inequalities.
