" "Innovation is taking two things that already exist and putting them together in a new way." Often, attempting to effect social change can be daunting to the youth who are told that they do not yet have the experience to create significant impact. And yet, it is the youth who are best positioned to adapt and thrive in our rapidly changing world. Sustainable development pertains to building humanity's present without compromising humanity's future, the future which we the youth will inherit. As Millennium Fellows, we are empowered to innovate in the areas whose consequences will echo for millennia to come. "
