The project has gone great so far, I've had access to numerous datasets that I'm still cleaning, preparing and deriving insights from and making visualisations of my findings. Coming across relevant data took some time but the project entails crushing the numbers from statistical data on how to produce consumption goods responsibly eng foodstuffs to avoid wastage of raw materials for their production that would otherwise be used to other purposes. It also highlight how consumption of certain goods correlates with depletion of some natural non-renewable resources such as firewood. Once a tree is cut and used a sfirewood it cannot be reused, it can only the replanted and the timeframe it takes to grow to maturity is far too long and significant environmental impact will have already occurred. The aim is to use this data to inform decision making in production and consumption habits with a view of preserving resources, ensuring their longevity and also moving to alternative resources e.g for energy moving from firewood to solar energy and highlighting the infrastructural needs to achieve such a goal
