United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Imaara Twasimama

The Imaara Twasimama project is a project that is currently in force, and it aims at implementing SDG 4: Quality education and SDG 5: Gender Equality. The name of the project means ‘Together we Stand’. It was started in 2020 with the aim of improving the quality of education that children in primary public schools are provided with as well as trying to eliminate gender inequality

About the Millennium Fellow

Sheila Ndolo is a young woman, 20 years of age who is a citizen of Kenya by birth. She resides in Nairobi in Madaraka near her campus; Strathmore University where she is pursuing a bachelor of Law. during her leisure time, she loves reading books and watching documentaries. Her favorite documentary is Grey's Anatomy. She is passionate about helping her community and steering developments or improvements within her community even in the smallest ways possible.
