" "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step,when i look at where i started my volunteering work and development i would not have taught i will be here as a Millennium Fellow .Be part of the Millennnium Fellowship is an aspiration i have held for a long time and one thing that i have held deep within me is the spirit of organization ,collaboration and team work. These are the pillars that drives me and challenges me to keep on doing what i do for humanity. As part of the Millennium Fellowship one needs to have this skills for the success of the project. This will serve as a boost to my career aspiration. We as Millennium Fellows will work together as one on project(s) that will inure to the development of the various communities that we reside in. Which in totality will help to the attainment of Sustainable Development goals. I can not wait to get started on this amazing journey". "

About the Millennium Fellow

Fidelia Atampoaka Ayaabilla is a passionate and dedicated volunteer who gives her time for the sole purpose of activitisms and volunteerism to ensure that people of less previleged background get the help they need. She is a third year student of University Of Capecoast studying economics and geography. She aspires to be one of the pre -eminent economist in Ghana, Africa and the world. As an alumilus of Campaign for female education (Camfed) is part of her social duties to educate young girls in High school about female reproductive health ,importances of education and career development among others in order for them to live productive lives after graduating from school.
Throughtout her life she has volunteered to be part of the change process in her community by donating her time , effort and energy into worthy causes such as volunteering into Non Governmental Organization who are into development and health such as Health for all people,Center for National Culture,Ghana Red Cross society among others.
Fidelia aspires to use her experiences to oneday establish a school and her foundation that will solely take care of persons with disability and the marginalised in society as part of the the United Nations sustainable goals.
