" Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship, I will be able to build on my creative skills by enhancing solutions to common problems faced. The lessons learned and connections gained within this Fellowship will allow me to have a lasting impact on the community around me. I am excited to get started and be a part of the change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Financial Aid 101

I want to create a website that makes it easier to find scholarships and grants for students. Right now, you have to navigate through multiple different sources to maximize the amount of aid you can get to attend higher education. Most students don't have the resources or support system when they are applying to colleges to help guide them through the process. The website would help students navigate different grants and scholarships they are eligible to apply for. It would also help guide them through the process of filing a FAFSA application and writing scholarship essays.

About the Millennium Fellow

Pavandeep Gill is a first generation pre-public health student. She is passionate about advocating for those who do not have voice. Pavan was born and raised in the Central Valley in California where she saw first hand the disparities faced by low-income communities comprimised mainly by minorities. Insipired by those around her Pavan wants to work towards being the voice for marginalized communities with the health care sector.
