Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Chart-Up
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project Chart-Up seeks to address the problem of inability to secure admission to a university by students from low-income households due to a lack of access to the right information by distributing to schools a professionally developed career chart that contains:
1. Courses that students in science, arts, and commercial classes can study in the university.
2. The subject combination for each of the courses.
3. University admission processing channel description.
4. How to calculate cut off marks for specific universities.
The chart has already been developed by the Heroes and Heroines Initiative, a youth-led organization providing mentorship and sensitization on career selection for admission seekers. The chart can be access here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1h0MviHeJYbezAwMWsCpd5wY0zcXCI-l3
This project only involves the reproduction of this chart on banners, donation to schools, and career talk outreaches.
