Millennium Fellowship Project: Back to School Project

Back to school project was aimed at reducing illiteracy among primary school children living in remote communities as well as eliminating the possibility of dropout from school, by pupils through our book donation outreach, seminars and partnership.

This project champions the Sustainable Development Goal (4), Quality Education, with the following indicators;
To ensure that all girls and boys have access to quality early childhood development, care and pre-primary education
Build and upgrade education facilities that are disability and gender sensitive and provide safe. Inclusive and effective learning environments for all
Eliminate gender disparities in education and ensure equal access to all levels of education and vocational skills for the vulnerable, including persons with disabilities, indigenous people, and children in vulnerable situations.

Our goal is to reintegrate 60% of children back into the classroom and to cause a robust shift in classroom performance.
Target Population: Primary School Children
Location: Rivers State

About the Millennium Fellow

Victoria Odey is a young Fellow who's dream is lending a hand in making the SDG 4 (Quality Education) a reality.
She is a student currently undergoing a pre-degree program in the University of Calabar. Nigeria. She aspires to graduate as a Public Health Tech Practitioner. Among her passions is tutoring.
She was born in Nigeria - Cross River State. She is an individual keen on getting Young people to value Education at it's best form. And she has put her desires into action by encouraging quality educationa as she and her team provides young people in primary schools in her locality with learning tools among other things.
She believes in a better tomorrow, a better world and, she lives work for it.
