About the Millennium Fellow

Obialor Joy Chioma is a young , daring and exceptional Nursing student at University of Jos (Plateau State).Born in the city of Jos but hails from Imo State. This young lady is passionate about growth, innovation, public health and leadership. She advocates for student nurses participation in personal development, she also advocates for kidney care to reduce the number of kidney disease cases and improve health. This resulted from her past experience of losing a loved one to chronic kidney disease after three years of weekly dialysis sessions.
During the world kidney day, she organized a social media awareness campaign to address myths concerning kidney care and intends to raise support for those she calls kidney warriors (those battling with kidney disease).
Joy aspires to be an International voice in Nursing Science and cultivate her advocacy work (kidney care) further, and provide her own contribution in the development of the United Nations Sustainable Goals.
