United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Making Education Relevant Through Community

The program focuses on equipping youths of different age groups, especially in most underprivileged communities to have access to Education meant to help them socially and economically, to help in making informed decisions.

About the Millennium Fellow

Josphat Nyirongo is a third year student at the university of Zambia, pursuing a bachelor's degree in mathematics and curriculum studies. Josphat is a young dedicated team player whose interests for social change and philanthropic community works spans from his early life in primary school when he realised that the community and the world needs leaders to foster social change and development. Josphat has been running a community based non- government organisation and cooperative to help him actualise his vision with focus on fighting drug and substance abuse and economic freedom for the youth. He believes education ACM be used as a powerful tool to foster all round development. From Millennium Fellowship , he wants to use the knowledge and experiences to continue with his vision and professionally engage governments and and all stakeholders in a similar or who might have interest in this vision.
