Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Children With Disabilities
Providing support to a team of physically challenged people that work to create mobility aids from recycled paper and cardboard for children with disabilities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Miyanda Bwalya is an ambitious young woman with a knack for leadership roles. She studies medicine at the University of Zambia-Ridgeway Campus and is in her sixth year.
From a young age, she has been passionate about issues affecting women, children and the underprivileged people in our society. It is this passion that has driven her to enroll in the Millennium Fellowship and make a small impact in her community and eventually use the skills learnt therein to push the UN agenda of SDG. She grateful for the opportunity.
