About the Millennium Fellow
Ananya Ganeriwalla is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in International and Development Economics and a certificate in Spanish. Her career interests include venture capital/private equity, entrepreneurship, and law. On campus, she’s involved with the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference and Wharton Ideas for Action. She has interned for two social-impact oriented startup ventures (Umwuga and Sanctuary Kitchen) that focus on improving employment accessibility for South African blue-collar workers and Muslim refugees, respectively. She has been involved in research initiatives to quantify the global scope of social policy think tanks and to explore the plight of child brides and widows in rural India.
