Millennium Fellowship Project: Community Health Awareness Competition (CHAC) Program
Community Health Awareness Network was an initiative I started up to help create health awareness to different communities and schools that lack basic healthcare services.
In this particular project, seven 7 different primary schools were visited and the pupils taught how to be healthy so as to stay away from parasitic diseases. Parasitic Infections were chosen because of how common they are among school aged children in Nigeria. At the end of the programmes in each school, washing buckets with soaps were presented to discourage disease transmission among the young generations.
