Millennium Fellowship Project: Biogas Power Drive Initiative

Biogas Power Drive Initiative is a project created by Shyat Moi Lemoshira. It is planed to be carried out within August-December 2022. Its aim is not only teach locals of a pastoralist community to benefits of using biogas as a source of fuel in cooking but also setting up biogas systems that can be used by various households. Furthemore, It would be a dynamic project that will reduce charcoal burning in rangelands and be cost friendly for members of the Isara community which will improve their livelihoods by saving energy and protecting rangelands to ensure pasture for their livestock.

About the Millennium Fellow

Shyat Moi Lemoshira is a young and proud Kenyan lad. He was born in Kajiado district on 8th July 1999 and currently resides in Osotua, a village near Amboseli National Park. His qualities are dependableness, efficiency and commitment. In addition, this zealot has glimpsed in socio-economic challenges that have been brought forth due to his public engagements in academics and social life in and out of Kenya . As a result, he aspires to be an astounding diplomatic personnel who aims to effectively address environmental issues shared by his community and other cosmopolitan citizens.
