About the Millennium Fellow

Vuyiswa Mochochoko is a Mosotho student who is studying Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand. She is from the country of Lesotho, thus she qualifies to be an international student in her institution.
Her advocacy is solely based on quality education for the African child. Vuyiswa suffers exclusion through policies which hinder inclusion of international students in her institution. To counter this, she took on a journey to remedy the predicament by running for the student representative council so that she represents international students (provided that she wins elecrions).
Vuyiswa has big dreams for the African child as she would like to see a future where anyone can study within the continent of Africa without encountering hindrance or barriers of entry imposed through requirements.
