Millennium Fellowship Project: Community Health -Our Health
My project is about raising awareness on the different types of non communicable diseases which are often caught late leading to a poor prognosis. This includes raising awareness on diseases like Hypertension, Diabetes, prostate cancer, hyperlipidemia, and so on. I intend to use churches, schools markets and hospitals to create that awareness
About the Millennium Fellow
KFUH Kingsley KAN is a 6th year Medical Student at the faculty of Health Sciences University of Bamenda Cameroon. He has great interest in decentralizing Health care to his local population, gaining inspiration from the exponential number of consultations on health issues that could've easily been prevented with just alittle Health education. King, through his project hopes to give his local population a more sustainable view of Health. With passion for children/teenagers, he wishes to eventually secure a residency in Paediatric Surgery upon graduation from medical school.
