Millennium Fellowship Project: Project HOPE: Holistic and Overall Progress for Everyone
Project HOPE (Acronym for Holistic and Overall Progress for Everyone) is a group project led by the Millennium fellows of cohort- Christ (Deemed to be University) Delhi NCR campus. The project aims at providing quality education and good health to the children and women respectively. The project will focus on the SDGs goals- Quality education, Good health & well being and gender equality. During the session, project hope will visit 4 NGOs where the modules on good touch and bad touch, menstrual hygiene, etc. created by the fellows will be taught to the orphan children and women. We chose this project because we believe that education and good health are the basic necessities in today's world and education is the key that will open the door for gender egalitarianism.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bhavidhi Malhotra is pursuing her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at CHRIST (deemed to be University), Delhi. Bhavidhi believes that youth holds the power to change the world for better. She is passionate to bring a change through spreading awareness and knowledge to the ones who do not have the access to it. As an intern at an NGO aimed at educating children in the slums she developed a sense of purpose to work for the cause. Through her project she aims to build a network of youth volunteers who want a change in the society and are ready to work for it.
