Millennium Fellowship Project: Stellar Fellowship
Stellar Fellowship focuses on uplifting First-Generation Low-Income students through various curriculums focused on socio-emotional support, gender equality, and, overall, enhancing their form of education within academia and in their personal lives. Throughout these months, I anticipate commencing the various curriculums I want to conduct in the Fall and Spring semesters for students around the NYC area. Through my goals, I hope to accomplish the following:
October: outline curriculum for the first session; create partnerships with college access programs; start drafting E-board plan and volunteer recruitment.
November: host the first session in collaboration with Double Discovery Center and other non-profit organizations that assist FGLI students; continue building curriculum from 9-12 grade.
December: Host at least 3+ sessions with a full e-board and volunteers; assist around 25-40 students by that time; receive at least 90% satisfaction via survey forms after each session.
