Millennium Fellowship Project: Universal Education Metaverse
The Universal Education Metaverse project is about creating an innovative and imaginative online learning platform that promotes inclusivity and equitable quality education for everyone. Education is a fundamental human right, and everyone deserves access to it nevertheless of location, background, or financial status.
Specific actions implemented include:
1. Community services and opinion collection for primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong
2. Travel to disability support organizations to assess system usability to continually improve inclusiveness and increase impact.
About the Millennium Fellow
Jiaming Han is a senior computer science student at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Recognized by MCN as an Emerging Technologist, Jiaming is deeply committed to leveraging modern computer technologies to address regional development disparities. With a focus on artificial intelligence and metaverse, he aspires to enhance educational resources in underserved areas. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant technological landscape of Hong Kong, Jiaming believes in the transformative power of digital solutions. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a master's degree in data science and work in the realm of AI safety governance.
